Step two: Note-taking

Reading text analytically and developing notes that will serve you well immediately and in the long-term are important research skills for university students. Your notes about your chosen topic area are one of the elements of this assignment that you must hand in with your completed project.

Note that you have been instructed to take notes from two texts. (If you are doing this subject as a BUGE course you need to use Berk plus three texts.) Each set of notes must be separate and clearly referenced. If you need to develop skills in note-taking refer to the on-line workshop Note-taking from Reading. For referencing information see the Learning Guide: Referencing.

Make sure your notes address fully your topic and the closely related aspects of development. File your notes carefully so that they are available  for further use in this project and later in your studies.

Have you found a reference you'd like to check out with others? If so, join in the Discussion.
