Invited Speakers
Two renowned speakers in the area of internationalisation of the curriculum will give invited papers.
Hanneke Teekens is Director of the Department for International Academic Relations at the Netherlands organisation for international cooperation in higher education (NUFFIC) in The Hague. Hanneke has worked as a lecturer, advisor and consultant in international education for almost twenty years, is the author of various publications on internationalisation and has a special interest in 'Internationalisation at Home'.
Angela Scarino is the Director of the Research Centre for Languages and Cultures Education, in the School of International Studies at the University of South Australia. Angela is an applied linguist who is an educator and researcher in the areas of curriculum theory and development, assessment and intercultural learning. She has led major curriculum development for school and higher education nationally and in various states of Australia, as well as internationally.
