Hobsons Guides

The Hobson Good University Guide provides information on ratings and ranking of all Australian universities. The guide is an up to date source of information on all Australian university, TAFE and vocation education and training (VET) courses. Information contained in the Hobsons Guide include course costs, admission requirements, course lengths and specialisations. The guide also includes information on student living, education costs and study pathways.

OZJAC

OZJAC is a database that brings together information on accredited courses, their providers and jobs in Australia.  OZJAC includes information on official higher education and Vocation Education and Training (VET) courses offered by universities, TAFE and RTOs, course links to a wide variety of jobs and industries and broad base industry and education information. The database is available online or through CD ROM and is used by TAFE, universities, Job Network staff, independent consultants and private employment services as part of their career advisory services. Australian Universities

The Australian Universities website is an excellent resource for people considering tertiary education. The website provides links and information on all aspects of university education including university courses and university institutions. This website is a good starting point to identify which courses are offered at each university and information on study costs, accommodation and student resources. Click on  the list of Australian universities located on the homepage to start your search.

Australian TAFE

This web wombat search engine lists the different TAFE Providers located in each State and Territory of Australia. This link provides a useful starting point to identify TAFE courses and institutes. A list of TAFE institutes can also be found on the Australian Universities webpage under the heading colleges. 

National Training Information Service

The National Training Information Service (NTIS)  is the official national register of information on courses, qualification, training packages, units of competency and RTOs in Australia. The website consists of a database of vocational education and training programs (VET) and is an excellent starting point to identify training courses, qualifications or RTO providers. The website enables users to browse State Training Authorities as well as training packages, RTOs and Industry Skills Councils.

Training.com

Training.com.au provides information on VET courses and RTOs. Users can search the database to identify training organisations, apprenticeships, traineeships, training courses and packages. The website also provides information about the standards that RTOs must meet in providing training programs and information on credit transfer and articulation.
