Austudy

Is financial assistance provided to students aged 25 years and over that are intending or are doing an approved course of full time study or undertaking a New Apprenticeship full-time. The courses that qualify for Austudy payments  are generally, secondary education courses, graduate courses (excluding most Masters and all Doctorates), undergraduate courses, associate diplomas and TAFE courses. If your disability impacts upon the load of study that you can undertake concessions on the study load requirements are available.

If your disability affects your ability to study full time you may still be eligible to receive Austudy as long as your workload does not fall below 25% of the normal full time load.
