Research interests

  • My research and supervision expertise is in the area of government/third sector relationships and the outsourcing of community services in a number of social policy areas. These include comunity services workforce development, employment and labour market programs, and most recently domestic violence programs. I have recently been investigating the theoretical and practical issues involved in localism and locality-based policies. I have also undertaken research and supervision on more general aspects of policy transfer, and the evaluation of policy and programs that aim to alleviate social disadvantage.
