I am a registered nurse /midwife. I worked as a midwife from 1988-2007 in both Public and Private Sectors. I gained my Ph.D in medicine/health sciences from the University of Adelaide in 2007. I was appointed to a continuing Lecturer position at this university in Feb 2008.


Teaching interests

  • My teaching interests are wide ranging I teach in the nursing and midwifery programs.
    I enjoy teaching both online and in the class room. I have also been involved in curricula writing and was the course content developer for Normal Pregnancy and Childbirth 1 & 2 and also completed a major revision of NURS 3032 Systems and Organisation of Nursing care.
