I joined the Defence and Systems Institute in July 2007 as a Lecturer in Principles of Test & Evaluation. Previously, I had worked for eight years for the KAZ Group (formerly Aspect Computing) in Adelaide, initially as a Business Analyst, but quickly moved on to roles as a Test Engineer, Test Lead and Test Manager. I worked with a range of different clients, from State Government, to utilities and Defence. In 1998, I left the Australian Regular Army with the rank of Major after 21 years’ service, principally as a Logistics officer. During my Army career, I completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Information Systems (with Distinction) at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (1992), followed by graduation from the Defence and Industry Study Course (SA) in 1997. I am keen to develop my understanding of Test and Evaluation of complex systems, and pass on my knowledge to other eager minds.
