Welcome to my home page. I am Dean of Teaching and Learning within the Division of Information Technology, Engineeering and the Environment. My responsibilities include improving learning outcomes for students, quality assurance of teaching and learning processes within the University's teaching and learning framework, improving access to University for a range of equity groups and contributing to University wide strategy and policy development in teaching and learning matters. I also have an active involement in a number of community related activities which include the University's peer mentoring scheme, the robotics peer mentoring program and the SMS@UniSa program which assists local schools to teach year 12 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics on campus.


Teaching interests

  • I teach courses in Statistics and research Methods to students studying programs in the Health Sciences such as Physiotherapists, Pharmacists and Podiatrists. I also ocassionally teach quality management within the MBA in a range of offshore locations including Hong Kong and Singapore.
