Support available during my study

Talking to women already working in your industry area and networking with your fellow students will help you in your studies and in your career planning. Seeking out a mentor (either in industry or at the University) can assist you to stay focussed and confident in your studies and career planning.

The School of Advanced Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering provides female students with a mentoring program to support them through their studies.

The School of Computer and Information Science provides interesting information on Women in IT in their IT Skills Hub section  In addition CIS has excellent career resources and  scholarships and prizes information at The Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) website and information about an ICT Women's Forum.

If you are simply looking to connect with other students, refer to the UniSA Students' Association website for information on recreational, club and society activities which can help you "belong" to the University community.
