Prerequisite(s): LANG 1026 Italian 1A or equivalent

Vocabulary and language structures related to the range of texts, themes and topics covered; grammatical concepts with a focus on language in use; sociocultural knowledge integral to the range of situations and tasks covered in the language classes; a range of text types appropriate to students’ language proficiency level, including a selection of works by contemporary Italian writers; aspects of contemporary Italian culture and society relevant to the readings and projects covered.
