Prerequisite(s): Two courses in Writing and Creative Communication, or by permission of the Course Coordinator or Program Director.
Not available to students who have successfully completed COMM 2044 Issues in Texts A: Creative Nonfiction.

Exploration of the roles of writer and reader in the construction of texts, with particular reference to literary nonfiction texts, including writing about place, people, natural world, science and technology, controversial issues, popular culture, and political events which will provide focuses for discussion and exploration; exploration of the process and practice of writing through reading writers' reflections and autobiographical accounts.
