Learning and Teaching Unit
The Learning and Teaching Unit plays a major policy and service role in facilitating the University’s strategic directions for improving teaching and learning. This includes:
- support for student learning through Learning Connection
- professional development for academic teaching staff
- specialist support for distance education delivery for the University of South Australia and other agencies
- development and maintenance of the online learning environment
- research and consultancy in teaching and learning.
The Learning and Teaching Unit is one of several service units which work to improve the teaching and learning environment for students and staff.
The Learning and Teaching Unit, Student and Academic Services and the Library are coordinated within the Academic portfolio.
The activities of all Learning and Teaching Unit staff are shaped by the University's commitment to a strong customer-service orientation in work practices.
