Learning Connection services
Learning Connection works in close partnership with Schools to provide a range of resources and opportunities for students to develop independent learning skills that will be successful at UniSA and beyond. Learning Connection engages students by supporting academic staff in their teaching and working directly with students on a group or individual basis through its service teams but also expects that students will take responsibility for their learning and well being.
Confidentiality
Learning Connection provides a range of services in support of student learning. Information provided to Learning Connection staff by students relating to their learning needs is recorded and shared by Learning Connection staff for the purpose of collaboratively supporting student learning.
In providing student services, staff may receive sensitive personal or health related student information. This information is treated with appropriate confidentiality within the relevant Learning Connection service area. Sensitive student information is not released outside this service area unless consent is provided or there is a requirement to do so according to Corporate Policy A-46.4 Confidentiality of Students’ Personal Information
