Learning Connection
Learning Connection offers a regular drop-in service as a quick and convenient way for you to contact our staff. You do not need an appointment and students are seen on a “first come first served” basis.
Drop in sessions are short, usually 10 minutes, and provide you with an opportunity to have your questions dealt with quickly, be directed to resources and workshops or to make a longer appointment if necessary.
When you arrive at Learning Connection for the drop-in session, you will need to tell the Administrative Officer behind the desk your name and student ID number.

Campus Central is the first point of contact for Learning Connection services on the Whyalla campus. Campus Central can organise a telephone or email appointment with a metropolitan based learning Connection staff member, for which a private office will be provided. A PC based video-conferencing system will also be established for this purpose.

Campus Central staff also have oversight of disability services in Whyalla. They will help with some issues themselves (eg. provision of a note-taker or scribe, arranging extra time in exams), or refer to the University's Disability Liaison Officer, or to the outsourced counselling services offered on Campus.
