Academic Development

The Academic Development team at Learning Connection has an enabling role in improving the teaching and learning environment of the University through the provision of academic development activities and resources in the areas of teaching, learning, research education and assessment. Academic development staff work with academic staff to achieve the strategic teaching and learning directions of the University and focus specifically on the learning outcomes of students.

Learning Connection for staff provides access to a rich array of information, services and resources which assist in understanding the distinctive teaching and learning framework of the University of South Australia and developing teaching practices. Academic development staff are involved in induction, Teaching @ UniSA, supervisor development and a number of other activities that are identified through annual service agreements with Divisions and other University areas. Many resources on this website are UniSA specific but the site also links to websites of related interest across the world which can provide academic staff with global perspectives to inform academic development in teaching practice and research.
