Evaluation In a nutshell logo

Evaluation of any activity is a vital part of a quality assurance process. Evaluation can be formative (sequential and progressive improvement) or summative (for a program review, or academic promotion or probation). At UniSA, our Teaching and Learning Framework utilises the ADRI cycle (Approach, Deployment, Results and Improvement) to support the improvement of student learning outcomes.

Policy A35-A - Quality assurance and improvement: Programs, courses and teaching arrangements, sets the framework for the quality assurance for UniSA's courses and programs. This includes

Evaluation tools

The University provides a range of online tools and devices through which academic staff have the flexibility to pursue their own strategies to reflect on and improve aspects of their teaching and learning.

There are many stakeholders in teaching and learning and each should be consulted to provide balanced evaluations. The following links will take you to information and tools to allow you to conduct or analyse evaluation data.

Student perceptions of their teaching and learning experiences through standard instruments

Student perceptions of teaching through non-standard instruments
