Transnational teaching
Transnational teaching involves the delivery of UniSA programs in offshore locations. Australia-based academic and professional staff work together with local lecturers, coordinators and tutors, or with administrative assistance from partner organisations.
The following pages of teaching and learning resources have been developed to support the professional development needs of all teachers working in UniSA transnational programs.
-
Resources for UniSA staff who teach offshore
-
Resources for partner organisation staff who teach with UniSA
-
Resources for preparing induction and development activities
These resources were developed in consultation with experienced academics and are based on research conducted through an Australian Educational International (AEI) funded project into academic and professional development needs in transnational education.
In 2005 the Australian Vice-Chancellors' Committee (AVCC) were commissioned by AEI to administer a series of research projects into quality practice in transnational education. UniSA were awarded funding to research the professional development needs of transnational teachers. The resources produced here are guided by that research.
