Learningfast Online IT Training

Learningfast enables you to develop computing skills to complete assessment tasks at UniSA.  Learningfast offers a suite of learning packages to familiarise beginners and advanced users with popular Microsoft computer software. For example Learningfast can help you become familiar with software such as:  

• Word - to word process your assignments
• Excel  - to create graphs and do calculations
• PowerPoint - to create slides for oral presentations
• Outlook - to use email
• Access - to create databases.

Learningfast also has learning activities around webpage design, searching the Internet,  MS Project and accounting software, MYOB.  There are also learning activities introducing first time users to computers.

You can use Learningfast through:

• The TeachMe package which uses interactive tutorials which you can tailor to use at your own pace.
• ITC Skills Benchmark which is a tool to test your current computing skills and increase your competency (this course will provide you with a Learningfast achievement certificate)
• Online Manuals which provide a range of full text online manuals for many popular programs.  These programs are searchable and printable.

 Learningfast enables you to select the type of function you need to learn.

Log on to Learningfast using your UniSA log on details.  Learningfast will ask you to provide contact details the first time you use the package.  Learningfast and its tutorials are supported by most operating systems, although there are some limitations with Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape and Mac OS.
