The sub-major in Editing and Publishing provides students with a sound basis in the processes and skills involved in the construction of texts in both print and digital environments, including writing within technical and professional contexts, the ethics of working in the fields of editing and publishing, and as understanding of client relations.
Students must complete 27 units for the sub-major, made up of five courses - two 4.5 unit courses at Level 1, two 4.5 unit courses at Level 2 and one 9 unit course at Level 3.
Students must complete 18 units for the minor, made up of four 4.5 unit courses. The minor does not include the 9 unit Level 3 course.

- This course is a compulsory core course and must be taken to complete the sub-major, if it has not been taken or is not being taken towards another major or minor.
- Any of the courses listed above already taken in any other major, sub-major or minor may not be counted towards the sub-major or minor in Editing and Publishing.
