Counselling and Interpersonal Skills

Type:
Major, Sub-Major, Minor

Location:
Magill

Counselling and Interpersonal Skills provides students with practical and applied skills from Psychology: foundational knowledge and skills in counselling and interpersonal communication; working with groups and communities; and applied psychology topics such as human factors in the modern workplace. There are also opportunities to participate in practical research projects. While not leading directly to further postgraduate programs at the moment, the 'practical' skills learned will be desirable to many employers in conjunction with a Major.

Counselling and Interpersonal Skills is available as a four-course minor, a six-course sub-major or an eight-course major.
