The 36 unit major, 27 unit sub-major and the 18 unit minor in Digital Design are available with any of the undergraduate programs offered wihin the School of Communication, and other Professional Majors across the University.
This major/sub-major/minor will provide students with professional skills in using specialist software for layout, Web design, graphics and image-editing, together with scanning and digital photography, for print and Web publishing; a theoretical understanding of visual form and message, the differences in design elements for print and Web, and the communicative aspects of digital publishing for business, marketing, public relations, journalism and educational purposes.

A Sub-Major in Digital Design consists of six courses (27 units), two of which must be at Level 1, two at Level 2 and two at Level 3.
