The Physical Education major is a multidisciplinary study of the various forms of physical activity in society. It is both theoretical and practical in nature and focuses on the role of physical activity in developing and educating the child. It introduces and develops knowledge and skills necessary to perform a leadership role in physical education in early childhood education settings and junior primary and primary schools.

Notes
Physical Education is available as major of eight courses (36 units), a sub-major of 6 courses (27 units) and a minor of 4 courses (18 units). Courses may be taken as electives and options with appropriate prerequisites.
All of the courses listed above will not necessarily be offered every year. Cross campus and cross institutional enrolments may be possible but only with the prior approval of the Physical Education Major Coordinator.
