The major provides knowledge and expertise in understanding contemporary organisations by improving business processes and functions through the planning, implementation and management of information technology, as well as supporting skills such as accounting, economics and general business. The major focuses on organisational information needs: the planning and development of strategies and solutions to business problems through the use of information technology, and the management of business information systems.
