The sub-major in Communication, Media and Culture requires the completion of 6 x 4.5 unit courses, three of which must be the core courses. 

The minor in Communication, Media and Culture requires the completion of 4 x 4.5 unit courses – two at Level 1 and two at Level 2/ 3 – and one of which must be a compulsory core course.

It is recommended that students cluster their choice of courses in a similar manner to the sub-major options for Communication, Media and Culture. This may be done in consultation with the Program Director or Course Coordinator.

1. These are core courses and one of these must be taken to complete the minor. Students may select more than one core course. All three core courses must be taken to complete the sub-major.
   
2. Some of these options can only be taken at Level 3. Check individual courses for prerequisites.
   
3. COMM 1018 Screen Matters: Film, Television and New Media is a compulsory prerequisite for LANG 3018 Italy Close-up: Cinematic Identities and Cultures.
