Once I
became a qualified artist I was approached by arts in action, for instance,
and
they employ me as a consultant probably 2 – 3 times a month to come in and
help other
people with disabilities who also want to become an artist.
So that
consultancy is an example of a job which I never dreamed of – all of a
sudden they
approached me. Another one I’d heard of just recently, because the studies
I’m doing at
university involve adobe photo shop, I understand there are a lot of
architects out there
at the moment who do not have adobe experience and they are quite happy to
employ
first years to come and do their presentations.
So there
is an avenue there that I have already got skills to work straight in with
existing
architect departments – I can help them and we can work together.
