Bibliographic details

Record the bibliographic details of your text:

• for a book that will be the author(s), date of publication, title, publisher, place of publication
• for a journal article include author(s), title of the article, title of the journal, volume, number and page numbers of the article
• for a text you have downloaded from the Internet include author(s) (if identified) and title, the URL and the date you downloaded it

You may find using a pro forma, either electronically or in hard copy, a useful way of keeping track of the bibliographic information as well as the key ideas in your text.
