Aim
This is a graduate program of study designed for professionals in the arts industry to develop managerial skills and knowledge.
Entry requirements
Applicants will normally meet one of the following requirements:
- Undergraduate degree; or
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant field of the arts and two years relevant professional experience; or
- A minimum of six years relevant professional experience; or
- A post graduate qualifications in Arts Management (or equivalent) from a recognised university.
Minimum English language entry requirements: coursework programs
The minimum English language entry requirements for international students who speak English as a foreign language are detailed below. It should be noted that some programs may specify higher English language entry requirements. These will be indicated in relevant program documentation.
Applicants are required to meet at least one of the English language entry requirements listed. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive.
Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

Note 1: Results from IELTS and TOEFL are valid for two years.
Note 2: The University, through UniSA International, maintains a list of countries where English is commonly used and which would satisfy this criteria. This may include particular educational institutions within a given non-English speaking country where English is the language of instruction.
Content/structure
The program requires a total of 36 units; there are eight courses each worth 4.5 units.
This program may be completed either on campus in Adelaide by attending lectures or in external mode using distributed education delivered via the World Wide Web. Distributed education emulates a normal interactive classroom, tutorials and syndicate work experience. The virtual class meetings and workgroup discussions lead to effective student group interaction and learning through formal and informal dialogue.

Fees for International students: $AU 19,920 per 1.0 EFTSL for students commencing in 2010.
Fees are calculated on a per Unit basis with 1.0 EFTSL = 36 Units.
Fees for International students are determined one year in advance and are subject to variation.

Rules
1. Students undertaking the program full-time condense Years 1 and 2 together.
2. Credit will not normally be granted for any courses unless completed in a postgraduate program of study in a recognised university. Credit is granted subject to the approval of the Program Director.

- This program is Commonwealth Supported Place (previously HECS) based for Australian citizens and fee paying for international students.
