Aim

To prepare graduates of the Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education degree and similar degrees for postgraduate research and to provide advanced study in the area of Adult and Vocational Education.

Entry requirements

The Honours program will be offered to competitively selected students from the undergraduate Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education program (and equivalents). In order to be eligible for admission to this program students must have achieved a credit level average in the final two years of a relevant undergraduate program.

Content/structure

The program comprises 36 units, made up of a core research course, Issues and Methods of Research with a value of 9 units and three research project courses with a combined unit value of 27 units (Honours Thesis A, Honours Thesis B and Honours Thesis C).

Fee information

Fees for Domestic students: Commonwealth Supported
Fees for Commonwealth Supported Students are calculated at the course level. Click on individual courses in the schedule below to determine total program fees.

Fees for International students: $AU 16,000 per 1.0 EFTSL for students commencing in 2010.
Fees are calculated on a per Unit basis with 1.0 EFTSL = 36 Units.
Fees for International students are determined one year in advance and are subject to variation.
