Aim
To develop in students the skills and understandings to undertake multi-disciplinary research in the area of sustainability particularly applying to the natural and built environment.
Entry requirements
Applicants should have a completed Bachelors degree in a related discipline from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent qualification.Typical degrees which are suitable are in Sustainable Environments, Planning, Construction Management, Civil / Water Engineering, Geography, Science, Geographical Information Systems, Architecture, Design, Surveying, Ecology and Natural Resource Management. Applicants should have displayed a high level of academic achievement throughout their degree program, normally achieving at least an overall credit standing, GPA of 5.0 or more and evidence of research capability.
In addition, International students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission:
For international applicants for whom English is a second language, the minimum English language requirements are:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic): with a minimum overall score of 6.5 obtained within the last two years or corresponding results from an equivalent test such as TOEFL or the appropriate Academic English language level delivered at CELUSA; or
Successful completion of a secondary qualification in Australia within the last two years; or
Successful completion of at least one year of tertiary study in Australia within the last two years; or
Successful completion of one year of secondary or tertiary study conducted and completed in English within the last two years in a country in which:

English is an official language; or
-
English is commonly used, as determined by the University.

The program comprises four courses and requires the completion of 36 units
Fee information
Fees for Domestic students: Commonwealth SupportedFees for Commonwealth Supported Students are calculated at the course level. Click on individual courses in the schedule below to determine total program fees.
Fees for International students: $AU 20,000 per 1.0 EFTSL for students commencing in 2010.
Fees are calculated on a per Unit basis with 1.0 EFTSL = 36 Units.
Fees for International students are determined one year in advance and are subject to variation.
