Aim

The program will enable holders of two-year Associate Degrees in a range of specialisations from offshore universities and other approved providers, and those with a similar background of prior learning in terms of educational qualifications and professional experience, to upgrade their qualifications to degree level in the field of International Studies. The transnational program will develop in students current professional knowledge and analytical skills in applying cross-cultural, political and international relations concepts, and communication skills in one of the languages offered, which are needed for productive and socially responsible careers in a globalising and culturally diverse society.

Applicants must have achieved Band 6.0 on the IELTS test with a subscore of 6.0 in reading and writing, or equivalent.

The Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) consists of 108 units. Students entering with an Associate of Arts degree from the City University of Hong Kong will receive block credit of 72 units and to qualify for the award must complete 36 units.
