This program is designed for transnational applicants from APMI, Singapore 

Aim

The program provides graduates with an understanding of principles, practices and skills in the areas of product design and innovation. Product design is examined from both an engineering perspective and industrial design focus. Emphasis is given to understanding the concepts of design, marketing, engineering analysis and synthesis, style/aesthetics and product life management which are generally associated with mass market consumer products.

Applicants are required to have the following qualifications:

For international applicants for whom English is a second language, the minimum English language requirements are:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic): Obtain a minimum overall score of 6.0 obtained within the last two years or corresponding results from an equivalent test such as TOEFL or the appropriate Academic English language level delivered at CELUSA; or

Successful completion of a secondary qualification in Australia within the last two years; or
Successful completion of at least one year of tertiary study in Australia within the last two years; or
Successful completion of one year of secondary or tertiary study conducted and completed in English within the last two years in a country in which:

Content/structure

This program provides a plan of study for graduates from Polytechnic Institutes in Singapore who wish to upgrade their qualifications to the professional level of Bachelor of Technology (Product Design and Innovation). The program will require the completion of 36 units, consisting of 8 x 4.5-unit courses.
