Aim
This program provides motivated graduates, skilled practitioners and professionals from diverse disciplinary backgrounds with a broad understanding of international best practice in civil engineering currently adopted worldwide by many industry sectors.
Entry requirements
A relevant bachelor degree in engineering or a three-year diploma plus four (4) years relevant work experience, to quality for admission. Applicants with a three-year Diploma plus four (4) years relevant work experience will initially be enrolled into the Graduate Certificate in Civil Engineering program. Upon satisfactory completion of the Graduate Certificate requirements, students may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma program.
Content/structure
The Graduate Certificate in Civil Engineering is a generic program of advanced study comprising, 4 core constituent courses (18 units) which include the first two courses listed in Clause 3.2, PA) offered by UniSA (2 x 4.5 units) and 2 courses (2 x 4.5 units) offered by BUCEA in civil engineering and related topics. The courses are listed in the program schedule below.

Notes
- This program is a full fee paying program and is offered subject to market demand and other conditions.
- This program is offered in intensive block mode in Beijing, People's Republic of China using bilingual delivery as approved by the University. Each course will have 39 hours of formal lectures and tutorials supported by BUCEA.
- Credit will not normally be granted for more than one third of the total units of the program.
