I have just received a letter of which the enclosed is a copy from the Colonial Office and forward it to you by the earliest post for your guidance.

I am promised for you a letter to the Governor of New South Wales, on the receipt of which I will write to you more at length. In the mean time do me the honor to believe me, dear Reverend Sir,
