Dear Sir,

Mr FitzGerald has seen His Excellency, who was pleased to say he would grant the ground for the Chapel and hoped he would see it finished before he would leave the Colony.

Have the plan and ground work *agreed* Sunday next. If a certain Gentleman does it by contract I am of opinion it will be erected much sooner than otherwise, and the money collected quicker. A plan was made out, but a shabby one, and shall not be agreed to.

The building of the walls with cornerstone, two rows at bottom and *     window stool*, cedar for Altar and outer doors with those of the dressing and Sanctuary rooms are the only thing wanting in the first instance; Framing and Glazing of windows and *   * for last. Have your form of a Bond for a Contractor or Contractors to enter into.

In haste dear Sir

Yours Truly

D. Garrigan
