My dear Lord,
The bearer of this is the Reverend Samuel Coote concerning whom I lately wrote to your Lordship.
I mentioned in my letter that Mr Coote had zealously offered himself to the service of the Mission in Van Diemen's Land, and that he brought a good recommendation from the most Reverend Dr Murray.
I have only to add that during Mr Coote's stay in London, for about six weeks, he has conducted himself as a good Ecclesiastic. I have the honor to be with respectful attachment
My dear Lord
Your Lordship's most humble servant
