Reverend Sir,
It having been intended to discontinue the use of the Burial ground originally appropriated to the Roman Catholics in Parramatta on account of its contiguity to the High Road, I am directed by His Excellency the Governor to request that you will state the reason why the ground subsequently set apart for this purpose is not made use of.
I have the honor to be,
Reverend Sir,
Your most obedient Servant
Alex. McLeay
