Thursday January 30th. Rose at the usual hour. Prayers - Divine Office - preparation - Mass - heard Mass - Confessions. After breakfast business up to 12.30. Left at a quarter to 1 by train for Geelong en route to Duneed. Opened Mission to the people there at 7 with prayers and instruction.

Friday January 31st. Celebrated Mass at 8.30. Gave instruction to the few present. Heard Confessions from 11 to 12.30. At 1 or a little after left for Gnarwarre where we were engaged hearing Confessions until 3. In the [evening] at 7 night prayers - short instruction and Confessions.
