As of February 2007, the Scholarship of Teaching Fund has been incorporated into the University's Supported Teacher Scheme.

New Annual Conference
The inaugural "The SoTL Commons: A Conference for the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning" will be held November 1 - 2, 2007 on the campus of Georgia Southern University (Statesboro, Georgia) sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Teaching.
New International Journal
A new, international, peer-reviewed, open access eJournal, International Journal for the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (IJ-SoTL), will be published by the Center for Excellence in Teaching at Georgia Southern University (Statesboro, Georgia) with the inaugural issue in January 2007. The deadline for submissions for the 2nd issue is May 15, 2007.
You are invited to join the international IJ-SoTL discussion list for any and all things connected with SoTL and the improvement of student learning. There are currently about 240 international subscribers.
