I am part of the Learning and Teaching Unit (LTU) at the Mawson Lakes Campus of UniSA. The team at Mawson Lakes provides services to staff and students who are involved in teaching and studying engineering, computer science, science, maths, education and business.
In my role as learning adviser, I provide support to students via workshops, online community (Learing Connection @ Mawson Lakes and Writing in the Sciences) and through individual appointments. Learning advisers assist students to reach their full academic potential and we work closely with academic staff to achieve the best possible learning experiences for students.
My teaching interests include technical and academic writing; teaching international students, first year transition, journalism; communication studies and public relations.
I am a member of the organising committee of the ATN Assessment Conference 2008.
