As Consultant: Organisational Learning and Development within the Human Resources Unit, I provide advice and information on Organisational Learning and Development issues across the University. I am responsible for designing and coordinating the Worksmart program, the University's primary development program for professional staff in HEO3-7 positions. Worksmart provides professional development opportunities to professional staff within the University to help people sharpen and develop their skills and capabilities, share knowledge about best practice, and build collaboration and networks to support our efforts. For further details on the Worksmart program, please find the link below to visit the Worksmart Website.
I am also responsible for the 'Leadership Dimensions' program. The Leadership Dimensions forums and workshops provide opportunity for development and networking for senior professional staff (HEO7-9) at UniSA. These forums combine presentations by experts with facilitated discussion, designed to explore a range of contemporary leadership and management issues. For further information and registration details for the Leadership Dimensions program, please find the link below to visit the program home page.
I also have a passion for event management and after studying event design and management at Flinders University, I have had the opportunity to manage the Senior Staff Retreats since 2005. I have recently collaborated with Siobhan Langan to write the "Events @ UniSA - A Good Practice Guide" which is available on the the Induction and Staff Development web page (link below)
If you have any queries about the professional development opportunities available to you, please do not hesitate to contact me on X21636 or email anytime.
