Associate Professor Michael Galvin is Associate Professor of Communication in the School of Communication, International Studies, and Languages. (Between 1993 and 2004, he was also the Head of School of Communication). His teaching and research interests are in Communication Studies, Writing, Media and Cultural Studies. He has recently published and delivered conference papers in the area of globalisation and communication, life writing, and creative non-fiction, the future of communication as a field of study. His previous professional experience includes communications consultancy work in Australia, Europe and the United States for a wide range of organisations.
