Expertise for Media Contact

I am able to provide media comment in the following areas of expertise:

Discipline: Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering

  • Internal Combustion Engines (Petrol and Diesel Engines)
  • Alternative Fuels like Biofuel, Natural Gas, Biogas, Ethanol, Methanol, Hydrogen etc
  • Pollution from Internal Combustion Engines

Research Degree Supervisor

I have had sustained research involvement with various facets/aspects of bio-fuel, biomass and environmental pollution from conventional and renewable energy resources for over 20 years. More specifically, my research focus was in the areas of combustion, performance and emission analyses of alternative fuels for Petrol and Diesel Engines by experimental and simulation methods. Experimental research works have also been carried out on bio and producer gases produced from biomass (energy from waste) using digester and gasifier. A number of industry/government sponsored consultancy projects have been carried out on automotive engines, vehicle testing, environmental pollution and energy from wastes.
