Welcome to the home page of Sophie Diamandi, Lecturer in Social Work and Social Policy and managere of the Cultura Diversity Project - (Training, Education and Consultancy in Cultural Competency for Human Services workers) at the University of South Australia.

I have been based at the Magill Campus since 1995. Prior to that I lectured at the Whyalla Campus which is 400 kms north of Adelaide.

I am passionate about such issues as Human Rights;Cultural Competency, Cultural Identity, Social Justice and Equity;Refugees and New Arrivals; Child Protection;Domestic Violence;and Feminist Social Work and Social Work Profesional Identity.
