I am currently a lecturer in Information Systems courses as well as the course coordinator for Business Information Systems.

My research forms part of the Creative Teams project in the InSyl lab at the City West campus. One of the aims of the project is to provide non prescriptive technological support for small groups with ill structured problems. My interest is in creating and articulating a comprehensive theoretical understanding of human behaviour (at the level of actions) in small group settings.

Teaching interests

  • My area of interst in teaching is in Information systems but I would like to see a Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) program started within the school.
  • I am teaching Business Information Systems (INFS 1011) in SP2 and SP5 for 2007 and my consulting hours are Wednesday and Thursday mornings between 9 and 11:00.

Research interests

  • Computer supported cooperative work, behavioural aspects of small group interaction, REAL human interaction with computers (but NOT traditional Human-Computer Interaction) and extending the bounds of artificial intelligence.
