Dr H Alex Amankwah was a Fulbright Scholar to Cornell Law School in 1967 and Fuschberg Scholar to New York University School of Law in 1976. He taught at the University of Science and Technology in Ghana and the University of Zambia. He was the Foundation Head of Department of Private and Business Law at the University of Ibadan which he helped establish. He was also the Dean of Law at the University of Papua New Guinea, before taking up a position as Deputy Dean of Law at James Cook University. Dr Amankwah has come out of retirement to take up a position as Adjunct Professor at UniSA.
