Anne has worked in the field of education as a teacher/ director/ lecturer/ teacher educator and consultant in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, East Timor, the Philippines, Fiji, Kirribati, Nauru, Argentina and the USA.

In addition to her tertiary teaching, Anne is working on AusAID-funded projects designed to assist partner governments to improve the access to, and quality of their national education systems.

Anne is interested in education reform and vernacular education and has worked in these areas with the Vanuatu Ministry of Education, the Department of Education in Papua New Guinea, and the Indonesian Nusa Tengarra Timor Primary Education Partnership. She has extensive experience in designing, implementing and evaluating curricula and training programs for teachers, parents and community groups.
