In April 2009 I joined the Service Improvement Project (Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment) in the position of Senior Analyst: Change and Communication. My role focuses on staff engagement and communication, and facilitating the University's formal 'managing change in the workplace' process.
Prior to joining the Project, I held the position of Manager: Human Resources in the Division of Health Sciences in which I was responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver all HR activities across the Division. These activities encompass Recruitment & Selection, Induction, Learning & Development, Change Management, Case Management, Workforce Planning, Occupational Health, Safety & Welfare, and HR Administration. I also provided high level strategic HR advice to the Division Executive Group and senior staff.
Prior to this I worked as a Consultant: Workplace Relations in the HR Unit. I was primarily responsible for undertaking research/benchmarking for the University's Collective Agreement and writing papers for teh Director: HR for submission to the University's Senior Management Group. I also provided support to senior HR staff across the University involving the interpretation of the Collective Agreement and specific case management.
