My educative background includes working in the schooling sector as a teacher, curriculum advisor, deputy principal and principal in both city and country schools. I have worked as an education consultant for numerous authorities including: Department of Education and Children's Services, University of South Australia, Australian Education Teachers Union. My appointment as lecturer in society and environment at the University of South Australia has enabled me to live my passion of constructing environments that challenge and enable us to live together as a collective in socially just and ethical ways.

Doctor of Philosophy (in progress), University of South Australia. This interdisciplinary study, focussing on social sustainability and academic work is seeking to explore the multiple meanings of the term social sustainability as it is interpreted in contemporary academic work.
