I am a Senior Lecturer for the School of Nursing and Midwifery involved in both teaching and research areas. My major areas of interest are simplifying the access and appraisal of research evidence and establishing processes to promote the construction of evidence based knowledge relevant to professional practice. I teach in research courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, with my postgraduate teaching being multidisciplinary.

Thesis Synopsis: This thesis examines the research, education and practice interface in health care, proposing the application of an evidence based practice framework to the development of information resources. Using online nurse education as an example, the thesis proposes the development of a shared database seamlessly linking research, education and practice.
