I provide an advisory role to the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, the Learning and Teaching Unit and the University community in general on student equity matters, advising on policy, planning and review and providing a coordination role in relation to the University's student equity strategy (refer to web page below for details)
I come to this role with an extensive background in university administration, including 10 years in corporate and strategic planning, including the University's planning in student equity.
My work is enhanced by my doctoral studies into the influence of the secondary school environment on the higher education aspirations of students from disadvantaged schools.
